TIMALFES forest honey is a certified organic product of long collection, from April to October, with a very stable composition, aroma and quality every year.

Taste: Due to its low sugar content, it is not very sweet.
Aroma: Special and pleasant.
Viscosity: Quite dense texture, dark, not clear.
Nutritional value: Rich in antioxidant properties, large amounts of potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, sodium, unique enzymes that enhance metabolism.
Crystallization: Due to its content in wax, pollen, propolis does not crystallize, but acquires a creamy texture, at a fairly slow rate.

Mount Paiko is located in Central Macedonia on the border of the prefectures of Pella and Kilkis and is the largest chestnut forest in Greece with rich vegetation and several springs. The flora consists of about 2,500 plant specimens. The trees that cover Paiko are mainly chestnuts, beeches, pines, oaks, cedars, willows, poplars, birches, paliouri, holly, pseudo-acacias, polycombo, wild clover, rosemary, sage, lilies, and many others.
